One of the themes I hear over and over as I watch coverage of the road to the White House is change.  Everyone seems to want to see change.  We want someone with new ideas to make positive impacts to the economy, to the environment, changes to issues that we care about.

We are so focused on positive change that politicians can make to our world, but what about us?  Why don’t we become part of the solution and not the problem.  We are always looking for someone above us to make changes for us.  Why don’t we see what we can do?  Why don’t we identify changes we can make to make this world a better place right here and now.

God sent His son to earth to become Flesh and live among us.  God came to earth, if you will – heaven came to earth.  For those of us who trust Christ, He now lives in us – heaven has come to earth.  We can bring heaven to earth through our relationship with Jesus Christ and we have the responsibility to bring heaven to earth by spreading the hope we have found.
