On Sunday, Pastor Will challenged us to open ourselves up to the power of the Holy Spirit to give us boldness in sharing our faith.
What exactly is our role in this process?

1 Peter 3:15-16 says, “If someone asks about your hope as a believer, always be ready to explain it. But do this in a gentle and respectful way.”
Our hope in Christ centers around what we know to be true about Him. Each of us who call Christ our Savior has had an experience with Him. He has saved us from something, to something and for something – That’s our story.
Our story – the center of the cross diagram. The place where everything we are in Christ comes together and flows through. Stewardship has become somewhat of a churchy word, but the word centers around the idea of the proper management of everything that God gives us. Have you ever thought about your story that way? Chances are, you probably haven’t. God has given us a story. We have a BC and an AD.
Think back on who you were before Christ and who you are after you died to the person you used to be and began to live for him. Our role in living in the boldness that the Holy Spirit gives us is simply living open handed with the story that God has given us from the BC to the AD of our lives.
What has God done for you and in you? Who were you and who are you now? That’s your story and that’s your part in the Holy Spirit’s boldness through you.

Give him back your story as a part of your worship. Remember who you used to be before Jesus Christ found you and allow the Holy Spirit to put passion in your heart to share what he has done in you with others.
Who? With whom is God asking you to boldly share your story?
Ask the Holy Spirit to help you identify the people around you who need to hear your story. Ask Him to give you the passion for His heart for them in BOLDNESS to do it! He is faithful to lead you to opportunities to be bold in sharing your story.
