I am breaking for a few minutes from writing prep to throw out a few things I have been thinking about…

1. Churches that have the “that will never happen” mindset have just achieved it.
2. The opponents of innovation today look like the crackpots of tomorrow…While I am not diminishing Socrates (or as Bill and Ted call him, “Soe-crates”), he rejected the innovation of the alphabet as a threat to education on the basis that the tradition of memorization would fall by the wayside.  Maybe I should stop teaching my 3 year old the alphabet and just make him memorize everything.
