Have you ever noticed that we are often better evangelists for products than we are for the Son of God? One day about four months ago, I distinctly remember standing in our outer office talking to a couple people and our finance guy and I were stumping for Dyson. I mean we literally convinced our custodian to buy one for the church because of our experiences with the vacuum. I remember a day a little farther back, when the two of us were doing a similar thing with Vonage VOIP phone service.
Why is it that we seem to find it easier to prop up products and services that have “changed our lives” than it is to testify about the One who has literally saved our life. Just a thought…Any thoughts?
