Extended Sabbath

This weekend, I am on extended Sabbath.  As we are preparing to launch Connexion, it was, as I like to say, “last chance for gas.”  This will be the last respite for a while.  We are spending the Thanksgiving holiday with both sets of parents in Illinois.  Today (Thanksgiving Day), we are with my parents and my Great-Grandmother, and great-aunt and uncle.  Tomorrow, we are leaving for Peoria, IL to have Thanksgiving with Katie’s family at her brother and sister-in-law’s house.  Sunday, we will be back in the hometown to worship with our home church.  It should be a great Sabbath weekend to lead into a great and exciting week leading up to our launch next weekend!

RIP MacBook Hard-drive

It has been a very frustrating day.  Last night my good friend and companion, MacBook stopped working.  Along with it, went all the work for our launch.  It definitely was not something I needed right now.  The list of things to do is long enough without having to re-do work.

I am awaiting a consultation with a tech that may determine the extent of my data loss and how much it will be for a new drive.  Next time…Apple Care.  My next Mac will have Apple Care and I will like it.  Say it with me, “I will not cheap out on Apple Care again. I will not cheap out on Apple Care again…”
